- Set up and configure Akamai CDN services: Implementing caching strategies, SSL/TLS certificates, and security settings.
- Adjusting cache settings, load balancing, and configuring edge servers to reduce latency and improve content delivery speed.
- Configuring Web Application Firewall (WAF), bot management, and other security features to protect against DDoS attacks and other threats.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates: Ensuring secure communication channels by managing certificate lifecycles and configurations.
- Managed CDN configurations and optimizations for multiple high-traffic websites, enhancing user experience and reducing server load.
- Monitor CDN performance using Akamai tools, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high availability and low latency.
- Reviewing code written by peers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Diagnosing and resolving network-related problems.
- Responding to and managing outages, security breaches or attacks.
- Working with development, network, and operations teams to ensure security best practices are integrated.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for products and solutions.
